About Jason
Jason Gray earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2010. He went on to establish a practice in Idaho and is licensed to practice in that jurisdiction. His path through law school and into private practice centered on the everyday legal needs that matter to families and individuals.
He opened Pinnacle Estate Planning in 2023 and serves as the owner and lawyer at the firm. The decision to form a boutique practice followed years of observing how estate plans work — and how they fail. At Pinnacle Estate Planning he builds plans intended to be usable and understandable. He handles the drafting of wills and trusts, prepares powers of attorney and other estate planning documents, and advises clients on how to structure their affairs to reflect personal priorities.
Gray’s work is practical. He aims to translate complex legal options into plain language. Meetings can be straightforward or detailed, depending on the client’s needs. He prepares documents and explains what those documents do in daily terms. That approach is aimed at reducing confusion for clients and their families when a difficult moment arrives.
Within the firm, he manages both the legal work and the business side of running a small practice. He is responsible for client intake, document preparation, and the oversight of client files. He also handles guidance on probate and the administration of estates when clients or their families need assistance after a death. The practice handles common estate planning concerns rather than high-stakes litigation or corporate work.
Colleagues and clients note that Gray prefers a steady, methodical pace. He focuses on minimizing future disputes through clear drafting and on helping clients make choices that reflect their priorities. He does not court publicity and keeps a low profile. The firm’s work is largely referral-driven and comes from local networks and past client relationships.
Outside the day-to-day practice, he maintains connections with the local legal community in Idaho. He keeps current on changes in state law that affect estate planning and probate practice. That attention to local developments informs the firm’s document templates and client advice.
He currently concentrates his practice on estate planning and related matters.
