His practice encompasses many areas, including personal injury, criminal defense, DUI & DWI, domestic violence, juvenile law, and white-collar crime. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, handling cases from initial filing through requests for evidence, interviews, and appeals when necessary. Bassett served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County from 1999 to 2001. He also worked as a Principal Assistant County Attorney at the Suffolk County Department of Law from 2012 to 2014 and as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of New York’s Office of the Attorney General from 2016 to 2018. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Bassett has been active in professional organizations.
