About Jason Ari

Jason Ari Smith built a foundation in business and law that has guided a steady legal career across three state bars. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Legal Studies in Business from Tulane University in 2004. He then completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Miami School of Law in 2007.

His early years in practice combined courtroom exposure and firm-side training. In 2005 he worked as a law clerk and lawyer at Hyman Spector & Mars, LLP, where he gained hands-on experience with case preparation and client work. He moved on to Wicker Smith in 2008, then to Kaplan Zeena LLP in 2009. By 2011 he was a lawyer at Mombach, Boyle, Hardin & Simmons, P.A., handling matters that required coordination across litigation and investigatory tasks. In 2020 he opened his own office and began practicing under the Law Offices of Jason Ari Smith, P.A.

Smith is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. That tri-state admission profile has allowed him to accept matters that cross state lines and to advise clients on jurisdictional questions that arise in multi-state disputes. His admissions also reflect a career that has moved between regional firms and his private practice.

He holds certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. That credential informs his approach to investigations and fact-gathering. It also factors into how he handles disputes that involve alleged financial wrongdoing, regulatory scrutiny or complex document review. Colleagues and clients have noted his methodical attention to records and evidence, a trait that complements traditional litigation work.

Smith maintains professional ties through the Broward County Bar Association, among other local contacts. That membership keeps him connected to peers and current developments in Florida practice, while his work history keeps him engaged with legal communities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well.

Over time his practice shifted from associate roles at established firms to the responsibilities of running a solo office. That transition brought administrative duties alongside client representation. Today he manages the Law Offices of Jason Ari Smith, P.A., handling matters brought in the jurisdictions where he is licensed and applying his fraud examination training when investigations and complex financial issues arise.

His current practice is conducted through the Law Offices of Jason Ari Smith, P.A., where he handles cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida and applies his certification in fraud examination to investigations and litigation.
