About Jared

Jared Renfroe came to the law after studying human behavior. He earned a Bachelor of Science in sociology from Lambuth University in 2002 and followed that by earning a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2007. Those academic years shaped his early interest in how institutions interact with individuals and prepared him for courtroom work and client counseling.

He built his career in Memphis-area legal circles. Over the years Renfroe has taken on roles in local bar activities and civic organizations. He serves on multiple committees of the Memphis Bar Association, including the St. Jude Committee, the Membership Committee and the Publications Committee. Those committee roles keep him involved in lawyer-to-lawyer outreach and community fundraising efforts. He is also a member of the State Bar of Tennessee and participates in the Mid South Workers’ Compensation Association’s Memphis chapter.

Renfroe’s community ties extend beyond the bar. He holds memberships in the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce and the Arlington Tennessee Chamber of Commerce, where records show his involvement has continued since 2017. The mix of professional and civic participation reflects a practice that is rooted in local institutions and local concerns. He has combined that engagement with courtroom practice and case management over the past decade and a half.

In office listings he is associated with Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC. Within that setting he has taken on matters that intersect with employment and injury law, and he regularly appears before administrative bodies relevant to workplace claims. Colleagues describe him as practical in approach; he tends to favor clear, direct positions in filings and hearings. He also contributes to legal publications through the bar association committees he serves on, which keeps him connected to evolving practice trends and procedural developments.

Renfroe’s calendar reflects continuing professional involvement. He attends chapter meetings of the Mid South Workers’ Compensation Association and participates in chamber events across the Memphis area. Those activities keep him current on regional business and labor issues, and they inform how he handles cases that affect employers and workers alike.

He currently practices at Spicer Rudstrom, PLLC, where his work centers on workers’ compensation and related litigation.
