About Jared Reed
Jared Reed Richards earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University after completing undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University. He moved from classroom to courtroom with a foundation in the law that informs both trial work and counseling for business and estate clients.
He began his legal career in commercial litigation at Snell & Wilmer in 2008. That early period put him on large civil matters and familiarized him with complex commercial disputes. In 2011 he took roles that broadened the practice. He worked on litigation and trust-and-estate matters at Bowler Dixon & Twitchell, LLP, and also practiced under the Richards & Associates, LLC name. Two years later he joined Clear Counsel Law Group, where he became managing partner in 2013.
Richards is authorized to practice in Nevada and in several Nevada trial courts, including the Eighth and Second Judicial District Courts. He is also admitted in the Federal District Court of the District of Nevada and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to take cases that range from state-level civil disputes to federal appeals.
Across his career he has worked on commercial litigation and on disputes tied to trusts and estates. He handles business conflicts, contract disputes, and litigation that arises from estate administration. That mix reflects his early commercial work and the later matters he handled at smaller firms where litigation and fiduciary issues overlapped.
At Clear Counsel Law Group he has carried a dual role of lawyer and firm manager. As managing partner he oversees day-to-day practice operations while continuing to try cases and represent clients. The combination of leadership and courtroom work keeps him engaged in both strategy and case-level advocacy.
He maintains active memberships in several professional organizations. He joined the Nevada Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Clark County Bar Association in 2008. He later joined the Nevada Justice Association in 2012, and he continues those memberships to the present day.
Now based at Clear Counsel Law Group, Richards handles civil litigation, business disputes and trust and estate matters as part of his current practice focus.
