About Jared B.
Jared B. Staver has spent more than two decades practicing law in Illinois and in federal court. He earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2000 after completing a B.A. at Iowa State University in 1996. Those academic stops led directly to a courtroom and client-facing practice grounded in civil litigation.
His legal career began in a clerkship at Harvey L. Walner & Associates, Ltd., in 1996. That early role exposed him to case preparation and the day-to-day mechanics of representing injured clients. In 2000 he entered private practice as a partner at Staver & Gainsberg PC. He remained there through the early years of his career and built experience handling claims, filings and courtroom work in state and federal venues.
In 2013 he founded Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C., the firm he still operates. The firm’s name signals the kinds of matters it handles: accidents and injury claims. Staver’s practice has included representing people harmed in automobile crashes, pedestrian collisions and other personal injury incidents. He is admitted to the Illinois bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Staver keeps active ties to the bar community. He has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 2000. He belongs to the Chicago Bar Association and to the Cook County Bar Association. Since 2015 he has also held membership in the American Association for Justice. These memberships reflect regular engagement with continuing education, case law developments and exchanges with colleagues rather than a record of public office or committee leadership.

He currently practices at Staver Accident Injury Lawyers, P.C., where he represents people injured in accidents.
