James Long trained at two New York schools. He completed a B.A. in political science at the City University of New York’s City College in 2007. He went on to earn a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2010. Those years shaped a practice that reaches beyond a single courtroom.
He began practicing after law school and built a practice that spans state lines. He is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey and California. He also holds current membership in the State Bar of New York, which he maintains while handling cases and client matters across different forums.
Long’s work has unfolded in a mix of settings. He represents individuals and organizations in filings, hearings and negotiations. He has experience taking matters through trial and resolving disputes outside of court. He also advises on transactional questions that arise when clients operate across state boundaries.
