About James Lawrence Leach
James Lawrence Leach II grew up studying law the hard way: in classrooms, in courtrooms and in judges’ chambers. He enrolled at William Mitchell College of Law in 2011 and earned his J.D. in 2014. The three years at William Mitchell shaped his approach to practice. He learned litigation skills and the routines of trial work while balancing clinic and classroom responsibilities.
After law school he moved quickly into practice. In 2012 he served as a law clerk with the Tenth Judicial District Public Defender, gaining early exposure to courtroom procedure and client interviews.
