About James L. Ferraro
James L. Ferraro Jr. attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies and earned a B.B.A. before turning to law. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and then built a practice in Florida. His legal education combined business training and legal study, a background he brings to his work at the firm he leads.
After law school Ferraro moved into private practice. He formed The Ferraro Law Office and established it as his primary place of work. Over time he has kept the practice rooted in the state where he is licensed. He maintains membership in the Florida Bar Association and practices under the laws of Florida.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the office and methodical in preparation. He handles filings, client meetings and courtroom matters himself, rather than delegating every task. He approaches casework by breaking problems into discrete steps and addressing them one at a time. That approach has shaped how his office operates day to day.
Ferraro’s career has centered on running a small, client-facing firm. He manages the business side of the practice as well as the legal work. That includes supervising staff, overseeing case strategy and ensuring deadlines are met. The structure of his firm allows him to be directly involved in most matters his office accepts.
He is active in the Florida Bar Association, where he holds current membership. That ties him to the professional rules and continuing education requirements of the state. It also keeps him connected to other lawyers and developments in Florida law that affect his clients.
Today he works from The Ferraro Law Office, P.A. The office represents clients across matters that arise under Florida law. He concentrates on providing legal representation to clients in Florida state matters.
