His license is currently in active status. Mr. Chau is the principal and founding attorney of the Law Office of James Chau, P.C., a family law firm located in San Jose, California. Mr. Chau earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2001. During his time at Santa Clara University, he developed a strong foundation in family law, which has been the focus of his legal career.
Mr. Chau concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.
