About Jacques P.

Jacques P. Leeds took a nontraditional route into law. He began with business studies, then moved into legal training and later returned to school for an MBA. The result is a practice that sits where law and practical business sense meet.

He earned a B.S. in Business Management from Jacksonville State University in 2010. He completed his J.D. at Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2014. Five years later he added an MBA from Texas Southern University in 2019. The sequence shows a steady accumulation of credentials across business and law.

After law school, Leeds built a practice that reflects those twin interests. He is licensed to practice in Texas and authorized to appear in the Texas Southern District/Bankruptcy Court. He also represents clients before the U.S. Tax Court. In addition to court credentials, he is an Accredited Veteran’s Benefit Representative and an Accredited Social Security/Disability Claimant Representative. Those accreditations allow him to handle administrative claims for veterans and Social Security claimants alongside litigation work.

Leeds founded Leeds Law Office, PLLC. The firm handles a mix of matters that often intersect: tax disputes, bankruptcy filings, benefits claims and related business issues. His background in business management and his MBA shape how he evaluates cases. He tends to weigh practical outcomes and cost, and he works to align legal options with clients’ financial realities.

Clients encounter him in both court and administrative settings. In bankruptcy matters he files petitions and negotiates with creditors. In tax disputes he handles filings and represents taxpayers before the Tax Court. For veterans and Social Security claimants he prepares and pursues claims through the administrative process. The blend of courtroom and administrative work marks his practice.

Since 2015 he has been active in local bar circles. He holds memberships in the Fort Bend County Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him connected to regional practice developments and local resources.

He maintains an office under the name Leeds Law Office, PLLC where he meets clients and manages cases. His practice brings together tax, bankruptcy and benefits work and his prior business training informs case strategy. He is currently practicing at Leeds Law Office, PLLC, representing clients in tax, bankruptcy, veterans benefits, and Social Security matters.
