Cara earned her Juris Doctor in 1991. Her academic journey began at St. John's University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in 1988 and an Associate of Arts degree in 1985. These foundational years gave her the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful legal career. Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1992, Ms. Cara has been practicing law for more than 30 years, demonstrating her long-standing dedication to the profession. In addition to her New York license, she became licensed in Texas in 2014 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
