About Jacob A.
Jacob A. Epstein began his legal career soon after completing law school in 2015. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. His path to the bar followed a steady course through academic study and hands-on legal roles that prepared him for courtroom and office work.
Epstein earned his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University in 2010. He moved on to the University of Miami School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2015. Those years provided him a foundation in legal research and writing, and a grounding in the procedural rules he applies in practice.
Before law school, Epstein worked as a paralegal at Levy Phillips & Konigsberg, LLP in 2010. The paralegal role gave him early exposure to case preparation and client intake. During law school he took on a law clerk position at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. in 2013, where he assisted on matters affecting low-income clients. In 2014 he served as a legal intern at Ryder System, Inc., gaining familiarity with corporate legal processes. After earning his J.D., he joined Haber Law as a lawyer in 2015 and moved into full-time practice.
His professional memberships include the Miami-Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the Florida Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. He also holds membership in the American Bar Association. These affiliations place him among peers who handle a range of civil and regulatory matters and provide access to continuing education and local bar programming.
Colleagues describe Epstein as methodical in his approach to casework. He has carried the skills built as a paralegal and law clerk into his work as an attorney, often handling research, drafting, and courtroom filings. Admission to the federal district court allows him to represent clients in both state and federal forums when the matter requires it.
He maintains a practice centered in Florida and accepts matters that proceed in the Southern District of Florida. His background spans client counseling, litigation support, and procedural advocacy in state and federal matters. He currently focuses his practice on matters in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
