He completed his undergraduate studies cum laude at Hendrix College in 1989, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.\n\nAt Randolph, Boyd, Cherry & Vaughan, PLC, McClanahan represents clients in general district and circuit courts across Virginia.
His practice areas include personal injury, collections, and insurance defense. He has also represented clients in federal court and the Supreme Court of Virginia.\n\nBefore joining Randolph, Boyd, Cherry & Vaughan in 2002, McClanahan worked as an associate at several law firms, including Young, Goldman & Van Beek in Alexandria, Virginia.
