About Ivan

Ivan Bracho has built a career that moves between courtrooms, private practice and the mediation table. He began on judicial staffs and returned to private practice, carrying procedural insight from one setting to the next. The arc of his work is visible in the roles he has taken and the places he has worked.

Bracho spent the first phase of his career in the Venezuelan judiciary. He served as a judicial staff lawyer at the Tribunal Supremo de Justicia beginning in 2009 and later held a judicial appointment there in 2012. Those years gave him daily exposure to case management, written opinions and the internal mechanics of a high court. The experience shaped the way he approaches legal process and case strategy.

In 2017 Bracho broadened his work to include mediation and international firm experience. He served as a mediator in Franklin County Small Claims Court and worked as a legal intern at DLA Piper. Those roles added civil dispute resolution and cross-border firm practice to his background. He moved to the United States legal market and, in 2020, held roles at Hogan Lovells where his titles included law clerk and associate in the same year. That stint at a global firm brought him into larger commercial matters and multinational client work.

In 2023 he co-founded Braam Partners Law Office. The firm is based in Florida, where Bracho now practices. Establishing a firm marked a return to independent practice after time in institutional and big-firm settings. The move also allowed him to shape a practice that reflects his varied experience: judicial work, mediation and firm-based litigation.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in approach. Clients and opposing counsel have noted a preference for detailed procedural preparation and an emphasis on written advocacy. He has handled matters that require both courtroom presence and negotiated settlements. His background in a high court gives him a vantage point on appellate posture and argument structure that informs trial work.

Bracho practices in Florida and continues to split his time between advocacy and dispute resolution. He is the founding partner at Braam Partners and manages matters that arise in state and civil courts. His current practice covers litigation and dispute resolution.
