About Irene H.

Irene H. Gabo built a legal career in New York after completing studies at New York University and Brooklyn Law School. She combined classroom training with practical experience and moved into the city’s legal market. Her education laid a foundation in legal research, writing and advocacy that underpins her practice today.

She is admitted to the New York bar and has practiced in the state since leaving law school. Early in her career she worked in environments that exposed her to client counseling and court procedures. Over time she shifted toward maintaining an independent practice that allows direct interaction with clients and hands-on management of cases.

Gabo later established the Law Office of Irene H. Gabo, P.C. She operates that office as a small firm, handling matters that arise under New York law. Running a solo or small firm requires juggling casework, client intake and the administrative tasks of a private practice. Gabo manages those responsibilities while keeping files moving and court dates met.

Clients encounter a lawyer who is familiar with New York’s courts and procedures. Her work includes preparing pleadings, conducting hearings and advising clients about procedural options. She also works on negotiated resolutions when that approach serves a client’s interests. The practice balances courtroom work and out-of-court problem solving depending on the demands of each matter.

Colleagues and clients describe her approach as direct and pragmatic. She prioritizes clear explanations about legal options and realistic timelines. That style helps clients understand what to expect and makes decision points easier to navigate. She is comfortable in both the written and oral advocacy that cases often require.

Outside of casework, running a law office has shaped Gabo’s view of legal practice. Administrative tasks, client development and professional obligations inform how she organizes the office and sets priorities. Those operational choices aim to keep client matters moving and to meet deadlines imposed by courts and other institutions.

Today, she continues to practice from the Law Office of Irene H. Gabo, P.C., representing clients in matters governed by New York law and handling the full spectrum of tasks that a small firm presents.
