About Houtan
Houtan Yaghmai built his path to law from a combination of business training and three years of legal study. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside in 2010 and received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2013. Those credentials framed the early direction of his career.
After law school he moved into private practice. In 2015 he began serving as President and Managing Lawyer of Yaghmai Law Office, APC. He has run the firm since then, overseeing day-to-day operations while taking on client work across matters that touch both consumer concerns and immigration law.
Yaghmai holds admission to practice in California. His casework reflects the memberships he maintains in professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association since 2014. He belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association and its Southern California chapter, both since 2015. Since 2016 he has been a member of the Consumer Lawyer Association of Los Angeles. Those affiliations point to areas he spends time on in practice.
