About Hossein Farzam
Hossein Farzam Berenji is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Berenji is the founder and lead attorney at Berenji & Associates, a family law firm located in Beverly Hills, California. He has been practicing law for over two decades, serving clients throughout Los Angeles County and the greater Southern California area.
Mr. Berenji earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 2000. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. During his time at Loyola Law School, he developed a strong foundation in family law, which has been the focus of his legal career.
Mr. Berenji concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, with a particular emphasis on complex and high-net-worth divorce cases. He represents individuals in matters involving spousal support, child custody and visitation, child support and paternity disputes, and the preparation of pre- and post-nuptial agreements. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Berenji has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Mr. Berenji is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Berenji is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
