About Holly

Holly Stephens built a steady path into the law through two familiar Carolina campuses. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. That undergraduate combination shaped an early interest in government, policy and persuasive writing. Stephens then moved on to Campbell Law School, where she completed her J.D. in 2017.

Her education grounded her in legal research and writing, the everyday tools of practice. During law school she worked on projects that required close textual analysis and careful argument construction. Those tasks reinforced skills she had honed as an undergraduate studying both political structures and literature. The result is a lawyer who approaches facts methodically and who values clarity in courtroom and client communications.

After graduating from Campbell, Stephens began practicing in North Carolina. She has built her career in the state’s legal community and has taken on matters that draw on both analytical rigor and attention to detail. Colleagues describe her approach as measured. She favors careful preparation and clear explanations over theatrical gestures. In court and at the negotiating table she strives to make the record straightforward and accessible.

Stephens joined Batch, Poore & Williams, PC, where she handles a range of matters for clients across the region. Her work at the firm involves drafting pleadings, conducting factual and legal research, and advising clients on procedural questions. She has represented individuals and businesses in proceedings that require close management of documents and timelines. Those assignments have given her experience in the practical mechanics of litigation and dispute resolution.

Outside of casework, Stephens spends time improving the day-to-day systems that support client representation. She has been involved in refining processes for case intake and file management so that client priorities are addressed promptly. That operational attention reduces surprises for clients and helps the firm coordinate responses when matters move quickly.

In the years since finishing law school, Stephens has focused on building a responsive practice in North Carolina. She works from Batch, Poore & Williams, PC, and represents clients before state courts and administrative forums. She currently focuses her practice on representing clients in matters across North Carolina.
