About Henry M.
Henry M. Weinfeld built a layered academic foundation before entering the practice of law. He earned a J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2002. Earlier degrees include an M.S. and an MBA from New York University in 1987, an M.S. in BioScience from the University of Bridgeport in 1980, and a B.A. in Biology from the University of Bridgeport in 1977. That mix of science and business study preceded his legal training and shaped the way he approaches complex fact patterns.
His early legal work included a federal clerkship. In 2006 he served as a clerk to Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware. That position placed him inside the federal court system and offered firsthand exposure to procedural and evidentiary practice at a high level. Two years later he moved into private practice, establishing his own firm in 2008 under his name.
Since founding Henry M. Weinfeld Esq., he has run a solo practice. He manages client matters, handles filings and court appearances, and oversees the administrative work of a small firm. The firm’s structure allows him to handle a range of legal tasks directly. He has continued to work in environments that require close attention to technical detail, a throughline from his earlier scientific studies.
Weinfeld is licensed to practice in New Jersey. He has been active in the local bar. He has served as a trustee of the Gloucester County Bar Association since 2009 and has held the association’s treasurer role since 2012. Those positions involve oversight of bar affairs and participation in the county’s legal community.
Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical in case preparation. His background in biology and bioscience gives him familiarity with technical subjects that can arise in litigation or advisory matters.
