About Helene Vivienne
Helene Vivienne Wenzel was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1994, holding. She was a solo practitioner specializing in elder law, estate planning, and probate matters. Her office was located at 2000 Van Ness Avenue, Suite 516, San Francisco, CA 94109. Ms.
Wenzel's practice focused on assisting clients with wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, advance health care directives, trust administration, and probate proceedings. She also provided guidance on long-term care planning, conservatorships, and Medi-Cal eligibility. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Wenzel was actively involved in professional organizations.
She served as the past president and was on the board of the Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She was also a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the San Francisco Bay Area Network for End of Life Care, and Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom. Ms. Wenzel was fluent in French and Spanish, enabling her to serve a diverse clientele.
She passed away on January 15, 2025, as reported by the California Supreme Court. Her voluntary resignation from the State Bar was accepted on that date.
