About Hayk
Hayk Grigoryan built his legal foundation through study on both coasts. He attended Washington School of Law before pursuing graduate work at the University of Washington School of Law. There he completed an LL.M. in Tax Law in 2013, after entering the program in 2012. The advanced degree shaped the trajectory of his work and deepened his familiarity with federal and state tax rules.
After finishing his studies, Grigoryan moved into practice that frequently intersects with tax policy and transactional matters. His work has involved advising clients on tax implications of business decisions and on compliance obligations under evolving statutes. He handles research-intensive matters and prepares the analysis that guides client choices. The profile of his work often requires translating complex tax provisions into clear options for businesses and individuals.
Grigoryan’s day-to-day practice blends advisory and technical tasks. He prepares opinions, drafts planning documents, and assists in structuring transactions to achieve tax-efficient outcomes. He also spends time responding to regulatory inquiries and assembling the documentation needed for filings and internal review. Colleagues describe him as someone who prioritizes clarity in written advice and who aims to make statutes and rulings accessible to clients who do not practice law.
Located in the Wilshire Center, Grigoryan serves a mix of clients from small enterprises to private individuals. He works on matters that range from straightforward compliance questions to more layered transactional planning. He keeps current on legislative developments and on administrative guidance that affects tax practice. That ongoing attention helps him identify practical steps clients can take when rules change.
Outside of client work he has maintained ties to academic study of tax issues through continued reading and occasional participation in professional programs. He draws on that background when confronted with novel questions or gray areas in tax law. His practice remains concentrated in tax matters, and he handles both advisory and transactional work for clients based in and beyond the Wilshire Center area.
He currently practices in Wilshire Center, and his work centers on tax law and related transactional and advisory matters.
