About Haley
Haley Henry studied legal studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and went on to earn her law degree from Lincoln Memorial University’s John J. Duncan, Jr. School of Law. She built her legal foundation in the classroom and through practical training that accompanied her law studies.
She is licensed to practice in Tennessee and is admitted to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. In addition to those admissions, Henry holds certification as a Rule 31 General Civil Mediator from the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. That credential allows her to serve as a court-certified neutral in civil mediation matters.
Henry’s professional work is centered at Garza Law Office, PLLC, where she serves as a lawyer. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she approaches matters by breaking complex problems into manageable pieces. Her daily practice involves drafting pleadings, preparing clients for hearings, and participating in settlement discussions and mediations when disputes are amenable to resolution outside the courtroom.
Outside casework, Henry maintains memberships in several professional organizations. She holds current memberships in the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Those affiliations keep her connected to developments in civil litigation practice and to peers handling similar legal issues.
Clients and other lawyers who have worked with Henry note that she combines courtroom preparation with an eye toward practical resolution. She accepts matters that require representation in state courts and in the Sixth Circuit, and she steps into the mediator role when parties seek a facilitated negotiation. Her background in mediation informs how she frames settlement options and evaluates risk when advising clients on whether to press a case to trial.
Her practice at Garza Law Office, PLLC blends litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She continues to take cases in Tennessee state and federal settings while serving as a Rule 31 general civil mediator.
