About Gregory Scott
Gregory Scott Hach earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1996. He went on to complete his legal education at The Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1999. Those years on two different campuses set the foundation for a career practiced across multiple courts and jurisdictions.
After law school he secured admission to practice in New York and the District of Columbia and gained standing before the federal bench in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He joined Hach & Rose, LLP and became a partner there in 2002. That partnership has been the principal locus of his work since then. He has maintained membership in the New York Bar Association since 2000.
Hach’s professional affiliations extend beyond the bar. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Washington, D.C. Bar Association. He also holds membership in the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Those memberships reflect a range of professional and personal interests that run alongside his legal practice.
Through his career Hach has worked in both state and federal forums. At Hach & Rose, LLP he is part of a team that handles matters brought in New York courts and in the federal districts that sit in New York. He also maintains active bar ties in Washington, D.C. He currently practices at Hach & Rose, LLP, representing clients in New York, Washington, D.C., and in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
