About Gregg
Gregg Gallian is an attorney admitted to practice in Texas and in several federal courts, including the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He handles matters that proceed in both trial and appellate settings. He works out of the Gallian Firm, where he has taken on a leadership role since 2019.
After completing his legal training, Gallian entered public service and then moved into private practice. Early in his career he joined the Dallas County District Lawyer's Office. There, beginning in 2015, he served as an Assistant District Lawyer. In that capacity he worked on cases on behalf of the office and gained experience in courtroom procedure and case management.
Gallian left public office to pursue private practice and in 2019 became the managing partner of the Gallian Firm. As managing partner he oversees the firm's operations and the delivery of legal services. He supervises case strategy, manages client matters, and handles administrative responsibilities that come with leading a small firm.
Over the years his work has required appearances in state trial courts and in federal jurisdictions, and he is admitted to argue matters before the Fifth Circuit. That mix of trial and appellate exposure has shaped how he approaches litigation and case planning. He handles pleadings, hearings, and appeals, and he has experience coordinating the different stages of litigation.
Gallian maintains current memberships in professional associations and engages with peers through those groups. He remains active in the legal community and draws on that network when preparing cases and staying current on procedural and substantive developments in the law.
Colleagues describe him as a practitioner who combines courtroom experience with the administrative duties of running a law firm. He balances client representation with firm management, allocating time between direct advocacy and supervising other lawyers and staff. His admissions to multiple federal courts allow him to pursue matters that span district and appellate levels.
Today he practices out of the Gallian Firm. He continues to litigate matters in state and federal courts and concentrates on representing clients through trial and appeal at the firm.
