About Greg
Greg Jean-Denis earned his J.D. from The City University of New York School of Law in 2003. He completed his legal education in New York after earlier academic work and then moved into practice across two states. The decision to work in multiple jurisdictions shaped the contours of his career from the start.
After law school, Jean-Denis began working in settings that required familiarity with both New Jersey and Florida law. He is admitted to practice in those two states. Over the years he has built a practice that reflects the procedural and substantive differences between them. He has handled matters that require attention to state-specific rules and local court procedures, and he has represented clients in forums in both jurisdictions.
Colleagues and opposing counsel describe him as pragmatic in approach. He breaks problems down into clear pieces and presses for practical solutions. His courtroom work and counseling often intersect; he prepares cases with an eye toward how they will play out if they proceed to trial. At the same time, he spends time advising clients on options that avoid litigation when appropriate.
Jean-Denis has worked in law offices and client environments where the demands of multi-jurisdictional practice are routine. That experience has required him to manage filings and deadlines across different courts, to coordinate with local counsel when needed, and to explain to clients how the same legal question can produce different answers from state to state. He keeps procedural detail at the center of case preparation. He places particular emphasis on clear communication with clients, so they understand not only the legal risks but the likely timelines and costs involved.
Outside the immediate demands of litigation or transactional work, he follows developments in both Florida and New Jersey law. He monitors appellate decisions and rule changes that affect practice in those states and adjusts strategies accordingly. Clients who need representation involving either jurisdiction find that his practice reflects an understanding of local practice norms as well as the substantive law.
Today Jean-Denis continues to practice law in Florida and New Jersey. He represents clients in matters arising under state law and manages cases that require attention to the procedural and substantive distinctions between the two jurisdictions.
