About Grant C.
Grant C. Travis earned his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1995 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at the New York Institute of Technology in 1992. He began his legal education focused on litigation and courtroom procedure, and he moved into practice soon after graduation. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania bar in 1995 and has practiced in the state ever since.
He opened The Travis Law Office the same year he graduated and has remained its principal lawyer. The early years of practice were spent building a local practice in northwest Pennsylvania. Over time his work expanded to serve clients across several regional offices. He has been listed as a lawyer at The Travis Law Office since 1995, and the firm maintains offices in Erie, Edinboro and Warren.
Professional involvement has been a consistent part of his career. He holds long-standing memberships in the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Erie County Bar Association. He has also been active in the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. His roles have included service on the Board of Governors for both the statewide and Western Pennsylvania trial lawyer groups; those board positions are listed as former roles he has held while remaining engaged with the associations.
Travis’s career shows steady participation in the institutions that shape trial practice in Pennsylvania. He has worked in courtrooms and on cases that require litigation experience, and his association memberships reflect that orientation. Colleagues and opposing counsel encounter him as a practitioner who brings years of courtroom work to client matters. He has stayed in the same jurisdiction for his entire career, maintaining continuity of practice in Pennsylvania.
The firm’s multi-office presence lets him meet clients in different communities. The Erie location serves as a primary office, while the Edinboro and Warren sites extend the practice’s reach across the region. That geographic spread has shaped the caseload and how the firm schedules hearings and client meetings.
After more than three decades of practice, he continues to handle matters that require litigation skills and courtroom experience. He remains active in bar and trial lawyer organizations and practices law through The Travis Law Office, handling litigation and client representation in Pennsylvania courts.
