About Glenn E.

Glenn E. Orr grew up academically rooted in the Midwest before pursuing law. He earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Missouri–Columbia and later completed a Juris Doctor at The John Marshall Law School. That combination of state university and private law training shaped a methodical approach to legal study and practice.

At The John Marshall Law School, Orr gained the foundation common to American legal education: case analysis, statutory interpretation and courtroom procedure. His coursework involved the core subjects that form the backbone of legal work — civil procedure, contracts, torts and constitutional law — and the training emphasized practical skills such as legal research and written advocacy. Those years established the technical tools he would use throughout his career.

After law school, Orr entered legal practice. He has experience advising clients, drafting legal documents and handling negotiations. His work required close attention to statutory language, deadlines and courtroom rules. He has spent time preparing pleadings, arguing motions and counseling clients on options and risks. Those are everyday tasks for many lawyers, but they are the ones that determine how a case moves forward.

Colleagues describe him as thorough and steady. He writes clearly and prefers plain language in client communications. In meetings and hearings he aims to make complex matters understandable. That practical bent shows in how he approaches problem solving: break the issue down, identify the controls, then move toward resolution.

Orr’s background bridges a public university undergraduate education and a law degree from an urban law school known for practical training. That mix has informed how he serves clients — balancing attention to legal doctrine with the reality of business and personal decisions. He has handled matters that required litigation readiness as well as transactional precision, keeping paperwork aligned with client goals.

He currently focuses his practice on advising individuals and businesses and on resolving legal disputes through negotiation, document work and litigation where necessary.
