Glen Leonard Rabenn is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1972. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Rabenn is the founder of the Family Law Offices of Glen L. Rabenn, a law firm located in Seal Beach, California. He has been practicing law for over fifty years, serving clients throughout the Long Beach and West Orange County areas.
Mr. Rabenn earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, graduating in 1972. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1969. During his time at Loyola Law School, he served as an editor for the Loyola Consumer Protection Journal from 1971 to 1972.
Mr. Rabenn concentrates his practice in the area of family law, representing clients in matters such as dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, spousal support, and division of community property. He has extensive experience in handling complex cases involving the division of businesses and professional practices, as well as issues related to child and spousal support. His practice encompasses all stages of family law proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rabenn has been admitted to practice before several courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also appeared before the California Superior Courts in Orange and Los Angeles counties. In 1981, he became one of the first attorneys in California to be certified as a Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California.
Mr. Rabenn is an active member of the California State Bar, where he has served on the Family Law Section's Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Superior Court's South District Mediation Program, which he founded. Additionally, he has been involved with the Long Beach Bar Association, serving as the past chairperson of its Family Law Section, and the Orange County Bar Association's Family Law Section. He is a member of the American Bar Association and has served as a judge pro tem for municipal and superior courts. Mr. Rabenn is fluent in Spanish, allowing him to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
