About Geoffrey Wilkinson
Geoffrey Wilkinson Vance built his legal foundation in Florida and returned there to practice after finishing law school. He earned a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2013, following a Bachelor of Arts from Clearwater Christian College in 2010. Those years shaped his early professional rhythm and set the stage for a steady climb in private practice.
His time at Stetson coincided with a period of practical training for many new lawyers in the state. Vance completed his degree in 2013 and later established himself as a member of The Florida Bar, where he maintains an active membership. The move into the state bar formalized his ability to represent clients throughout Florida.
In 2020 Vance was elevated to partner at St. Denis & Davey. The promotion marked an important milestone in his career. It signaled a transition from junior roles to leadership responsibilities inside the firm. As partner he takes part in case planning, client consultations and firm decision-making. He works from the firm’s Florida offices and participates in the daily operations that shape how cases are handled there.
Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady in his approach to client matters. He favors clear communication and practical solutions. Those tendencies inform how he manages files and briefs clients on options. He is comfortable in both written advocacy and client-facing meetings, and he draws on his courtroom training when matters require litigation.
Vance’s professional affiliations center on his active standing in The Florida Bar. He keeps current with the bar’s rules and continuing education requirements. That membership provides the regulatory framework for his day-to-day practice and connects him to the legal community across the state.
Outside the firm’s walls, he has engaged in the routine tasks that define private-law practice: preparing pleadings, negotiating on behalf of clients and counseling on procedural matters. He applies the procedural tools available under Florida law and relies on a pragmatic assessment of risk and remedy when advising clients.
He remains based at St. Denis & Davey and handles matters that arise in the firm’s Florida practice. His current practice focuses on representing clients in state-level matters from the firm’s offices in Florida.
