Geoffrey W. Millsom is a attorney specializing in complex litigation, business disputes, government investigations, and employment issues within the banking, consumer finance, investment advisory, and wealth management sectors. He serves as the Chairman of the Litigation Department and the Banking and Financial Services Group at Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C., a firm with offices in Providence, Rhode Island; Boston, Massachusetts; Manchester, New Hampshire; and New York, New York. Admitted to the Rhode Island Bar in 1996, Millsom has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2013 for his work in Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation – Banking and Finance.

His experience includes defending class action cases and other complex matters on behalf of commercial clients across various industries. Over the past few years, he has successfully defended multi-party litigation cases in Rhode Island, Maine, and Vermont. Millsom's practice also encompasses arbitration, representing clients before FINRA, AAA, and JAMS. He has defended national banks in actions brought by the Consumer Fraud Protection Bureau alleging violations of the Truth in Lending Act and has represented clients in class action matters in multiple jurisdictions.

In 2018, he achieved a complete defense verdict in a jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island for a luxury hotel chain sued by an individual who was physically assaulted in a hotel lobby. Millsom earned his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 1995 and his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University in 1990. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

In November 2024, Millsom was named Chair of AP&S's Litigation Department, succeeding Patricia K. Rocha, who had chaired the department for 20 years.
