About Geoffrey
Geoffrey Beauchamp earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 1976. He completed his legal education at a time of change in the profession. That foundation has informed a long career practicing law in Pennsylvania.
After law school, Beauchamp entered the legal community in Pennsylvania. Over the decades he has moved through the practical routines that define many private and public practices. He has handled courtroom proceedings, negotiated settlements, advised clients on transactional matters and prepared legal documents. Those experiences have given him an understanding of how legal processes play out in state courts and administrative settings.
Beauchamp has maintained ties to professional organizations throughout his career. He holds current membership in professional associations that serve lawyers in Pennsylvania. Participation in those groups has kept him engaged with continuing education and the shifting procedural and substantive issues that affect practitioners in the state.
His litigation experience includes appearances in state court and handling disputes at various stages, from pleadings to resolution. He has also spent time advising individuals and organizations on compliance and contract questions. His work has required regular interaction with judges, opposing counsel and clients, and an ability to frame complex facts into clear legal arguments. He prefers practical solutions that respond to a client's immediate needs while also considering longer-term consequences.
Beauchamp’s career reflects both courtroom work and advisory roles rather than a single institutional path. He has adapted to changing rules and shifting case law over time. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and attentive to procedural detail. He places a premium on clear written work and on explaining options so clients can make informed choices.
Now practicing in Pennsylvania, Beauchamp concentrates his practice on matters arising under state law, combining dispute resolution and advisory work for individuals and businesses. He continues to be active in the legal community and to accept matters that align with his experience in state court practice and client counseling.
