Genevieve H Torres earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2004, where she concentrated her studies in elder law. She entered the legal profession soon after finishing law school, building a foundation that combined courtroom exposure and counseling work. Early academic training in elder issues informed her understanding of family dynamics and legal planning for vulnerable clients.
Torres joined The Law Office for Family Law as an associate in 2008. There she handled contested and uncontested family law matters and learned the procedural and practical demands of family litigation. Those years offered steady exposure to custody disputes, dissolution proceedings, and the range of hearings that arise in domestic relations practice. The hands-on work sharpened her case management skills and her familiarity with local court processes.
In 2010 she opened Family First Law Group, PLC and assumed the role of owner and managing lawyer.
