About Gary Mike Mastry
Gary Mike Mastry II brings two decades of legal training and public service to his private practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 1992 and later completed his J.D. at Vermont Law School in 2003. Those years shaped an interest in law that led him toward both government work and private practice.
Early in his career he took a path that included federal service. In 2009 he served as a Lawyer Advisor at the United States Department of Commerce. That role placed him inside the machinery of federal regulation and policy work. It also gave him experience in navigating the interplay between agencies and outside counsel.
He is admitted to practice in Florida and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He has maintained professional affiliations beyond the courtroom. Since 2013 he has been a member of WealthCounsel, an association that gathers attorneys who handle transactional matters for individuals and families. That membership indicates recurring engagement with peers on technical issues, ethics, and practice development.
Mastry’s career balances public and private sector experience. He has moved between advisory posts and client-facing roles. That combination has informed how he approaches case preparation, client counseling, and litigation strategy when required. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing filings and attentive to procedural detail.
He now practices out of Mastry Law, P.A. The firm handles matters for clients in Florida and files where appropriate in the Eleventh Circuit. He continues to work on cases and transactions that require knowledge of both state law and federal appellate procedure. His current practice at Mastry Law, P.A. centers on serving clients in Florida and handling matters in the Eleventh Circuit.
