About Gabriella
Gabriella MacDonald earned her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 2015 after completing undergraduate studies at St. John Fisher College in 2011. Her time in law school included clinics and trial preparation courses that shaped an interest in courtroom procedure and client advocacy. She graduated into a legal market that demanded versatility and practical skills, and she carried those lessons into her early years as a lawyer.
After law school, MacDonald began practicing in New York. She built experience in the state’s courts and administrative forums. Early assignments gave her exposure to case management, client counseling, and negotiations. Colleagues from that period recall a careful attention to record-keeping and an insistence on clear client communication. Those habits followed her as she moved into running her own practice.
MacDonald later established MacDonald Law. The firm bears her name and is the platform through which she has handled a steady docket of matters in New York. Running a small firm required handling both substantive legal work and the business tasks that keep a practice running. She balances client meetings, court appearances, and the behind-the-scenes work of preparing pleadings and motions.
Her approach to cases tends toward practical problem-solving. She places emphasis on understanding a client’s immediate priorities and then mapping out options that reflect the realities of the process. In court, she has worked to present organized records and clear arguments. Outside of litigation, she focuses on advising clients about likely outcomes and the trade-offs of settlement versus continued dispute.
MacDonald remains licensed to practice in New York and continues to operate MacDonald Law. She represents clients in New York state courts and administrative proceedings and manages the firm’s day-to-day legal work. She currently practices at MacDonald Law, representing clients in New York state matters.
