About Gabriel
Gabriel Cheong began his academic path at the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he completed dual undergraduate degrees in computer science (B.S.) and mathematics (B.A.). He went on to earn a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Those credentials set the stage for a career that blends technical training and legal practice.
After law school, Cheong opened a solo practice in 2007, operating under the name Gabriel Cheong, Lawyer-at-Law. A year later he established Infinity Law Group LLC and has led that firm since 2008. The early decision to run a private practice shaped his professional life. He has navigated the practical demands of firm ownership while remaining active in community and bar activities.
Cheong is licensed to practice in Massachusetts. He has maintained steady involvement in bar and professional groups throughout his career. He joined several organizations in the mid-2000s, including the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. He is a member of MLGBA, AALAM and NAAAP. Beginning in 2009 he held roles on the Law Practice Management Council of the Massachusetts Bar Association and on the board of Starting Out Solo. He has also served on the board of Quincy Asian Resources, Inc.
Public programming and community outreach have been regular parts of his practice. In 2008 he presented on estate and Medicaid planning for an Asian caregiver support group. He participated in career panels at Southern New England School of Law and at Quincy Asian Resources in 2008 and 2009. He served as a mock trial judge for the Massachusetts Bar Association in 2009. Those activities reflect a pattern of legal education and local engagement alongside private practice.
Cheong’s undergraduate training in computer science and mathematics informs his approach to client matters. He applies analytical methods to evaluate issues and to organize casework and office systems. Over the years he has combined that background with the hands-on work of running a solo and small firm practice.
Today he continues to operate Infinity Law Group LLC and to maintain ties to the local legal community. He balances the administrative demands of firm leadership with client representation and public programming. He currently practices in Massachusetts, managing a private law firm and advising clients on legal and administrative matters.
