About Frederick Lewis Stoker
Frederick Lewis Stoker III entered law school after completing a liberal arts undergraduate degree in political philosophy and history. He earned a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2018, where he completed a Business Law & Financial Services concentration and logged more than 100 hours of pro bono service. His academic record shows an early interest in the legal and institutional frameworks that shape business and public life.
His career began in support roles. In 2015 he worked as a paralegal at Gomez & Palumbo LLC. During law school he spent time as a trust associate at Loring Wolcott & Coolidge Trust Company and worked as a legal intern at the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts in 2017. Those early positions exposed him to trust administration, courtroom processes and the mechanics of appellate and trial work.
After earning his degree he moved into associate roles at several firms. He joined Jouret LLC in 2018, then worked at Dayan Houman Professional Law Corp. in 2019. In 2020 he listed himself as principal of Stoker Law Office, a step that signaled work on his own matters. He returned to associate-level practice in 2021 at C&B Law Group LLP and later was an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in 2023. The sequence of roles reflects a mix of solo practice and firm-side experience across two states.
Throughout his career Stoker has maintained memberships in regional bar organizations. He belongs to the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association since 2015. After relocating across the country he joined the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 2022 and held membership in the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles from 2021 to 2023. For a time he was also associated with the Social Law Library. These affiliations indicate ongoing engagement with the legal communities in both Massachusetts and California.
Stoker’s background combines business law training, trust work and experience in civil practice at both smaller and larger firms. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California and is authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He maintains a practice handling business, trust and related matters in those jurisdictions.
