About Fred
Fred Rispoli took a circuitous path to the law. He arrived at legal study after completing a double major in biology and political science at Emory University. He then earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and graduated cum laude. Those academic credentials set a steady tone for the early years of his legal career.
Rispoli began practicing in larger firm settings. In 2008 he worked at Bryan Cave LLP, where he gained exposure to firm‑level litigation and the demands of complex client matters. He moved to Wilkes & McHugh, PA in 2012 and continued to develop his courtroom experience and case management skills. Over time he shifted from those firms into private practice and established his own office, Rispoli Law, PLLC, where he now handles matters for clients in Arizona.
Beyond the office, Rispoli has been active in professional and civic groups. He has been a member of the American Association for Justice since 2012 and is also a member of the Arizona Association for Justice from the same year. He has long been involved with Teach For America in Phoenix and has served as president of its Phoenix Junior Board since 2010. Records show he has maintained other professional memberships beginning in 2008.
Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical. He tends to break problems into discrete tasks and to plan the steps a case needs to move forward. That approach shaped his transition from large firms to his own practice. Running a small firm has allowed him to control the tempo of cases and to be directly involved at every stage of litigation.
Rispoli’s academic background in biology and political science informs how he reads technical material and how he frames legal arguments. The combination has proven useful when cases require both scientific literacy and an understanding of public policy or regulatory context. He brings that combination of training and hands‑on courtroom time to his work for clients.
He maintains active membership in several professional organizations and continues to serve on the Teach For America Phoenix Junior Board. He currently practices at Rispoli Law, PLLC, representing clients in matters arising under Arizona law.
