About Jared

Jared Pehrson began his academic path in Phoenix, where he completed a B.S. in Finance at Arizona State University in 2014. He moved on to legal studies at Arizona Summit Law School and earned his J.D. in 2017. Those two degrees set up a blend of financial and legal training that shapes how he approaches cases today.

After law school he gained admission to the State Bar of New Mexico in 2017. He is licensed to practice in both Arizona and New Mexico. Early credentialing allowed him to jump quickly into firm practice and to handle matters that cross state lines.

Pehrson’s first firm role came at Browne Law Group in 2018, where he worked as a lawyer. The following year he joined Impact Legal as a lawyer, a position he has held since 2019. At each stop he worked on client files, draft documents and court matters. Colleagues describe him as practical and detail-oriented, preferring clear written work and careful preparation over grand statements.

His undergraduate background in finance often shows up in his legal work. That training makes it easier for him to read financial records, explain numbers to clients and spot issues in transactional documents. He draws on that experience when cases include business or monetary elements, and it shapes the questions he asks in discovery and negotiation.

Membership in the State Bar of New Mexico stretches back to the year he received his J.D., and he has maintained that membership continuously. He also holds licensure in Arizona, which allows him to represent clients in both states. Those dual admissions are a practical fit for a lawyer who began his practice in the Southwest and continues to serve regional clients.

Peers say Pehrson prefers concrete problem-solving. He focuses on preparing cases and documents so clients can make informed choices. In practice that means steady case management, frequent client updates and attention to deadlines. He has handled matters at two law firms over the course of his career and continues to build experience handling cross-jurisdictional issues.

He is based in the region where he studied and practices law in Arizona and New Mexico through his work at Impact Legal, where he continues to represent clients in those jurisdictions.
