About Frank G.
Frank G. Fernandez earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1995. He entered private practice soon after and established a practice that would come to center on criminal and civil matters. His legal training in Tallahassee set the stage for a career spent representing individual clients in contested cases.
He founded Fernandez Law Group in 1996. From the outset the firm handled personal injury and criminal defense matters. Fernandez built a practice that addressed both trial work and pretrial negotiation. He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the Federal Circuit, handling matters that arise at the state level and those that implicate federal appellate procedures.
Over more than two decades he has litigated a range of cases in charged settings. He has represented people facing criminal charges and those seeking recovery after accidents and injuries. His work has required courtroom appearances, hearings, and negotiated resolutions. He represents clients from initial intake through trial preparation, taking cases that require close factual investigation and attention to procedural deadlines.
Fernandez participates in the legal community through several bar organizations. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association. He also belongs to the Tampa Bay Hispanic Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association. Those memberships keep him engaged with local practitioners and issues that affect trial practice and client advocacy in the region.
His practice is based in Tampa, where the firm maintains its main office. He also sees clients in Miami by appointment. That arrangement allows him to handle cases across Florida while maintaining a primary office in the Tampa area. He meets clients in person for consultations and court preparation when matters require it.
Frank G. Fernandez currently concentrates his practice on personal injury and criminal defense matters. He works from the Tampa office and accepts appointments in Miami for clients who require representation elsewhere in the state.
