Mr. Ali earned his Juris Doctor degree from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific, where he graduated in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York, earning a degree in 1981. During his time at McGeorge, he was selected to represent the school in the American Bar Association competition in Negotiation Skills and Client Counseling and Interviewing. Additionally, he was involved in Community Legal Services, the school's free legal clinic, serving as a team leader and a certified law student, offering services to low-income clients.
Mr. Ali concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support. He represents individuals and families in matters involving contested and uncontested divorces, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Before his legal career, Mr. Ali had a strong business background, working as an executive for a large insurance company and later starting his own small business, where he managed over 10 employees for 12 years.
Mr. Ali is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the Placer County Bar Association. He holds membership in the Family Law Section of the Placer County Bar Association and the Sacramento County Bar Association. He is also involved in the Rotary Club of Granite Bay, serving as Treasurer since 2008.
