About Felix A
Felix A Colon-Serrano earned his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico in 2005 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez in 2000. He moved from the study of government and policy into the practice of law, carrying a regional academic background into a career that spans several jurisdictions.
He began practicing under his own name in 2009, operating as Felix A. Colon-Serrano, Lawyer at Law. That period marked his transition from recent graduate to solo practitioner. He handled the day-to-day demands of running a small practice: client intake, courtroom filings, and client counseling. The experience shaped his approach to client work and office management.
In 2017 he joined Colon Serrano Zambrana, LLC. The firm describes a collaborative small-firm environment where cases are handled with direct attorney involvement. Working at the firm, he extended his practice beyond a single-office solo model and engaged in matters that required coordination across different legal systems and courts.
Colon-Serrano is licensed to practice in Puerto Rico, New York, and the District of Columbia.
