About Fabian John

Fabian John Rosati built a legal path that moved from political science and criminal justice studies into courtroom practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Criminal Justice and Criminology from Niagara University in 1993 and later completed a J.D. at The John Marshall Law School. Those academic foundations shaped a practice centered on litigation and courtroom procedure.

Rosati established himself in Illinois courts early in his career and expanded his admissions to the federal system. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before several federal tribunals, including the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois. He is also a member of the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Much of his work has taken place at the intersection of trial and appellate work. He handles matters in both state and federal courts and has experience managing cases from pleading through trial and appeal. That breadth allows him to address procedural and substantive issues at multiple stages of litigation, and to prepare matters for both fact-finding and legal review when necessary.

Peers and colleagues describe Rosati as practical in the courtroom. He favors direct presentation of evidence and careful preparation of witnesses. He has spent time developing trial strategies, briefing appellate issues, and presenting oral argument in federal settings where the rules and expectations differ from state practice.

Rosati runs a law practice under the name Law Office of Fabian J. Rosati, LLC. He maintains the office as the principal attorney and handles intake, case management, and courtroom appearances. The practice represents clients across a range of litigated matters that require admission to federal district and appellate courts, and it operates with the procedural demands of those forums in mind.

He now concentrates his practice on litigation in federal and state courts.
