About Evan
Evan Drew built a foundation in critical reading and clear argument during his undergraduate years. He earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Oglethorpe University. He went on to Emory University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2021. Those studies shaped the way he approaches legal problems: careful parsing of text, attention to structure and an eye for logical gaps.
After law school, Drew entered private practice. He is an associate at Parks, Chesin & Walbert. His bar memberships include the State Bar of Georgia, where he maintains active membership, and he is authorized to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Those admissions allow him to appear in both state and federal court settings.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation. He spends time on briefing and research, and on crafting arguments that are clear on the page and in the courtroom. He handles matters that require written advocacy and in-person hearings. His background in English and philosophy often shows through in his written work and in the way he frames legal issues for judges and clients.
At Parks, Chesin & Walbert he works alongside more senior litigators. His role involves drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and helping manage client communications through the life of a case. He also assists in the development of trial strategies and evidentiary preparation when cases move toward hearings or trials. The office environment gives him regular exposure to litigation practice in Georgia's courts and in the federal district.
Outside the office he remains connected to the legal community. He keeps an active membership in the State Bar of Georgia and participates in firm efforts that require collaborative problem-solving. He practices as an associate at Parks, Chesin & Walbert, handling matters in Georgia and the Northern District of Georgia.
