About Ethan
Ethan Epley began his academic path at Iowa State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1998. He continued his studies at Drake University College of Law and received his J.D. in 2007. The combination of an agricultural undergraduate degree and a law degree shaped the early contours of his professional interests.
After law school, Epley entered legal practice as an associate at Dillon Law Office in 2009. Two years later he joined Stumme Law Office as a lawyer. Those early positions exposed him to a mix of rural legal issues and general practice work common to smaller communities. He has maintained professional ties in the region through local bar associations and civic boards.
Epley holds memberships in a number of professional organizations. He has been a member of the Iowa Bar Association since 2009 and of the Butler County Bar Association since the same year. Since 2009 he has also served on the board of Waverly Shell Rock United Way, a role that reflects ongoing community involvement beyond his courtroom and office responsibilities.
