About Ethan

Ethan Basham graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2022 after beginning his legal studies in 2019. He completed the curriculum during a period of significant change across legal education. Classes returned to fuller in-person schedules and students adapted to evolving court procedures. Basham left law school with a juris doctor and the practical training that today's practice often demands.

He brought a straightforward approach to his studies. He concentrated on classroom work and practical skills. Those years shaped how he handles legal writing and client matters now. The law school experience also exposed him to the procedural demands of Ohio courts, a useful background given his later jurisdictional work.

After earning his degree Basham took the steps necessary to practice in Ohio. He is admitted to the Ohio bar and began practising in the state. Early in his career he joined Leo Law Co., LPA. At the firm he moved quickly into client work and court appearances. Colleagues and clients note that he approaches tasks with attention to detail and a steady temperament.

Basham's work involves managing cases and advising individuals and businesses on matters that come before Ohio tribunals. He spends time preparing filings, developing positions for hearings, and meeting with clients to explain procedural options. His day-to-day work mixes research, drafting, and courtroom time. He also handles negotiation and pretrial strategy when cases allow it.

He has built a practical practice that reflects recent training and on-the-job learning. Basham continues to refine litigation skills and expand his experience in Ohio practice. He prefers to keep the focus on clear communication and sound legal groundwork. As of 2026 he is an attorney at Leo Law Co., LPA, practicing in Ohio and advising clients on a range of matters before state courts and administrative bodies.
