Ernest Lee is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2001. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Lee is the founder and owner of Lee Law Group PC, a law firm located at 2878 Camino del Rio S, Suite 400, San Diego, CA 92108. He has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout San Diego County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Lee earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, graduating in 1999. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri, where he obtained his bachelor's degree. During his time at UMKC School of Law, he gained practical experience by working at various law firms in the San Diego area, including Martorella & Associates and Simpson & Brenner.
Mr. Lee concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and consumer protection law. He represents individuals in matters involving DUI/DWI, drug crimes, theft, and violent crimes. In personal injury cases, he handles claims related to car accidents, truck accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lee has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at Martorella & Associates and Simpson & Brenner in San Diego.
Mr. Lee is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the California Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego. Mr. Lee is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
