About Erin Esmay
Erin Esmay Tudhope earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in 2004 and a Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2007. Her academic path combined a liberal arts background with professional legal training, a blend that informed her early work in public service.
Early in her career she took an internship at the State Lawyer’s Office in the Victim Advocate’s Sex Crime Division. That placement exposed her to the processes used in victim services and case preparation. She worked alongside advocates and prosecutors during a formative period that shaped her understanding of how criminal matters intersect with community needs.
After law school she joined Roberts & Robold, P.A. as an associate attorney. There she spent several years practicing in a firm environment, learning the rhythms of client intake, litigation preparation, and courtroom procedure. The role provided steady professional development and a transition from public-sector internship work to private practice responsibilities.
In 2015 she established Tudhope Law, P.A. and became the firm’s owner. Running a law firm brought new duties: managing a practice, developing case strategies, and advising clients directly. Her move to start a practice reflected a decision to shape a legal practice around the skills she had accumulated over the prior decade.
Tudhope maintains memberships in the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, and the Central Florida Association for Women’s Lawyers. She stays connected to professional networks in Florida, participating in groups that offer continuing education and peer interaction.
Tudhope is licensed to practice in Florida and has built a career that spans work in both public advocacy contexts and private law practice. She has handled matters that required coordination with victim advocates and court personnel, and she has guided clients through procedural and litigation phases of their cases.
Colleagues describe her as an attorney who has steadily moved through different roles in the legal system, from intern to associate to firm owner. Those transitions provided varied perspectives on how legal representation functions in the community and the courts. She continues to apply that perspective day to day.
She currently practices through Tudhope Law, P.A., serving clients in Florida.
