About Erika Angelos
Erika Angelos Heath graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2009 and entered practice the same year. She began her legal career at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society as a staff lawyer, handling matters for clients who often had limited access to counsel. Those early years gave her courtroom time and a steady introduction to the practical demands of client work.
Her path moved from nonprofit practice into private practice over the next decade. In 2015 she launched a solo practice under the name Erika Heath, Lawyer At Law. She later served as of counsel at Duckworth Peters Lebowitz Olivier LLP in 2016, and then at Duckworth & Peters LLP in 2018. The of counsel roles allowed her to collaborate on larger matters while maintaining an independent practice identity.
Heath is licensed to practice in Georgia, New York and California. She has kept ties to the advocacy community and is a current member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. That affiliation places her among attorneys who handle consumer-facing disputes and regulatory issues, and it informs the kinds of cases she accepts and the professional networks she uses for referrals and strategy.
Colleagues describe her as pragmatic in court and methodical in preparation. She has experience across individual representation and advisory work, moving between litigation and negotiation depending on client needs. Her resume shows a mix of public interest experience and private practice work, which she has used to manage both high-volume consumer matters and more complex disputes that require prolonged attention.
Today she practices under the name ERIKA HEATH, ATTORNEY AT LAW. She handles cases for clients in her admitted jurisdictions and participates in consumer advocacy through the National Association of Consumer Advocates. She currently practices focusing on consumer advocacy and related client matters.
