About Eric R.
Eric R. Little earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Cornell University in 1994 and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. His academic path combined a liberal arts foundation with professional legal training. The degrees set the groundwork for a practice centered in Texas.
Little began working in legal roles soon after law school. In 2001 he served as a contract lawyer in the Law Office of Hubert Bell, Jr. He moved into litigation work in 2002 as an associate at Goodall & Davison, P.C., where he handled civil matters and courtroom preparation. Two years later he opened his own practice and became the principal lawyer of The Law Office of Eric R. Little, a position he has held since 2004.
Over the course of his career Little has balanced family law and criminal defense matters. He has experience in contested hearings, plea negotiations, and courtroom advocacy. The record shows steady involvement in trial preparation and client counseling across both civil family disputes and criminal charges. He holds membership in the Harris County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a connection he has maintained since 2016.
Clients and colleagues describe his approach as pragmatic and direct. He breaks complex issues into clear options. He prepares cases for trial when necessary and seeks resolutions when possible. His background includes work as a litigation associate and as a contract attorney before launching his own office, so he brings both firm-based and solo-practice perspectives to his work.
Little is licensed to practice in Texas and has built a local practice in Galveston County. The office handles divorce, child custody and support matters, as well as state-level criminal charges. He has maintained a steady presence in the region’s courtrooms and legal community for more than two decades. He currently practices family law and criminal defense in Galveston County, Texas.
